A note from the founder

About the company

GreenRoot Analytics was built to bring good science closer to everyday business decisions.

My background is not from software alone. I studied in Brazil, the United States, and Sweden, and completed a PhD in Physiology before moving into data science and data architecture. Over time, one idea kept returning: the methods we use to study people, systems, and change should not belong only to academia or large organisations. They can be turned into practical tools that smaller teams can actually use.

Work across research, and later across commercial and industrial data roles, made it increasingly clear how much useful insight still remains locked behind complexity, cost, or dependence on outside consultants. At the same time, technology has reached a point where many workflows that once required a full team of specialists can now be made accessible through thoughtful software. That shift is a big part of why GreenRoot exists.

The company was started in early 2026 in the Dutch countryside, where we live and work with a bit more quiet around us. The name GreenRoot is a small nod to that setting, but also to the scientific background behind the company: something grounded, living, and built from first principles.

What matters most in this work is building useful things in a thoughtful way. For GreenRoot, that means staying close to good method, handling data with respect, and creating tools that people can actually work with. It also means keeping this kind of technology within reach for smaller and mid-sized businesses.

GreenRoot Analytics was built to do that kind of work: practical, careful, and meant to be genuinely helpful.
